About

Ji Won Baxter

Artistic Outreach Coordinator

Originally from Southwestern Ontario, Ji Won has been captivated by the stunning beauty of the Rocky Mountains. Having grown up in the Catholic tradition and been confirmed in her faith, she has returned to the church with a deep appreciation for fellowship and spiritual growth.

Since beginning her faith journey anew in Banff, St. George’s in the Pines has become a cherished home for worship and connection. Ji Won first joined St. George’s as a Sunday musician, embracing the vibrancy and warmth of the church community. Each conversation with parishioners and visitors deepens her love for the church and its mission.

Now serving as Parish Administrator, Ji Won is excited to continue building meaningful relationships and planting deeper roots in the Bow Valley, inspired by the faith and fellowship of the St. George’s family.

Brit Enriquez

Wedding Coordinator

Brit’s story is one of faith, love, and resilience. Born in Calgary, she studied Near and Middle Eastern Civilizations at the University of Toronto, focusing on Islamic Studies. After being widowed at 23, Brit and her daughter Eve became a close-knit little family. Years later, she met Seth at Wycliffe College, and together they’ve built a joyful, growing family with their children Augie, Mae, and a new baby on the way in February 2025.

Brit’s heart beats for Jesus, and she brings that passion to her roles as the leader of Kids Church and St. George’s Wedding Coordinator. She’s an avid reader, always up for a great conversation over coffee, and ready to offer a warm smile and welcome when you visit us on Sundays. Brit’s warmth and joy make her a vital part of our community, and she’d love to get to know you!

Bill Pringle

Rector's Warden

Bill has always been deeply involved in church life, bringing his energy and commitment to every community he’s been part of. He joined St. George’s in the winter of 2021 and stepped into the role of Incumbent Warden in the spring of 2023.

Bill’s life has been an adventure, shaped by his career with the RCMP, which took him and his family to new places every four years. Now retired, Bill and his wife Mary have settled in Golden, BC, where he has embraced his passion for photography and started his own business. Together, they have two children and are proud grandparents to eight grandchildren, all living in the Edmonton area.

Bill is excited to connect with everyone at St. George’s and encourages you to stop and chat about anything on your mind. He’s eager to see how God will guide him in his role as Incumbent Warden and looks forward to being part of all that God is doing in this community.

Jane Russell

Deputy Rector's Warden

Jane’s faith journey began in the Anglican Church, first in the UK and later in Canada after her family moved. Her connection to the Church deepened during high school when her mum, Cory, pursued a Master’s in Divinity at the Vancouver School of Theology and was ordained as an Anglican minister.

During university breaks, Jane often accompanied her mum on pastoral care visits, bringing comfort and joy by playing hymns and Bach on her viola. Now a mum herself, Jane is passionate about creating opportunities for her children to grow in their own relationship with God, fostering a sense of faith and love in their lives.

Rick

People's Warden

Rick has been rooted in the Anglican Church of Canada since childhood, growing up in the eastern part of the country and remaining an active member throughout his life. His recent two-year term on the Parish Council of another church gave him valuable experience that he’s excited to bring to St. George’s.

With a 40-year career spanning the transportation and financial services industries in both Canada and the United States, Rick brings a wealth of expertise to his role. Outside of work, he enjoys snowshoeing, reading, and traveling, always looking for new adventures and insights.

Rick was inspired to step into this position by the meaningful messages and strong leadership of Rev. Seth. He’s passionate about contributing to the growth and vitality of St. George’s and looks forward to using his skills to support the church and its mission. Rick is eager to connect with the community and be part of what God is doing here.

Charlynn Odegard

Parish Council

Charlynn has called Banff home for three years, but her heart is still connected to Edmonton, where she spent most of her life raising a family, teaching, and building strong community ties. These days, she crafts and sells gelato locally and shares her teaching talents through ESL classes with Bow Valley Learning.

Charlynn finds joy in outdoor adventures, tending gardens, practicing yoga, savoring good coffee, and connecting through meaningful conversations. Her love for church and congregational life is at the center of her values, alongside a deep commitment to lifelong learning and listening for God’s quiet guidance.

Being part of the St. George’s community brings Charlynn great joy. To her, this ministry is a true gem in Banff, and she feels blessed to be part of its life and mission.
