This Maundy Thursday, we reflect on Jesus' command to love one another as he loves us, demonstrated by his act of washing the disciples' feet, even Judas', who would betray him. True love draws close, is vulnerable, and though sometimes uncomfortable, is honest and healing as seen in Jesus' sacrificial act of washing feet and giving his life for his friends. Embracing this divine love transforms both our hearts and the world around us.
